Edward holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Melbourne and a Master of Laws (Juris Doctor) from Monash University. He began his career in 2011 at an international bank, initially working in finance before transitioning into its legal division. In 2017, after completing a secondment at the UK House of Commons, he joined Best Hooper.
Specialising in Planning and Environment law, Edward provides legal advice and advocacy for developer clients of all sizes, representing them at VCAT and Planning Panels Victoria.
His expertise has been widely recognised, with Doyle’s Guide naming him a Rising Star in Property Law in 2022 and 2023, and more recently being named ‘One to Watch’ by Australia’s Best Lawyers Awards in 2024 and 2025.
