Best Hooper: The Next Generation
Best Hooper is proud to welcome the next generation of equity partners with Romy Davidov and Joel Snyder joining the partnership. We are also excited to have Joel Snyder being appointed as our Managing Principal. Together with John Cicero, Dominic Scally and Tania Cincotta, Romy and Joel will join the next phase of Best Hooper’s rich history, since 1886.
Our firm is continuing to build the next generation of leaders in our key practice areas, being Planning (Romy Davidov), Land Development (Joel Snyder), Property Law and Transactions (Giancarlo Romano), and Disputes (Robert McKay). With this we will ensure the continuation of the Best Hooper Legacy of having industry leaders at every phase of development.
With industry recognition, for several consecutive years, in Doyles Guide and Best Lawyers, Romy’s practice at Best Hooper focuses on offering developer clients with effective, streamlined and value based advice and file management. As both an advocate at VCAT and an instructing solicitor for Counsel, she works on a diverse range of town planning matters, predominantly in the space of residential and commercial mid-high rise developments. Her approach is detailed, commercial and outcome driven.
Joel completed his Masters of Business Administration (Melbourne Business School) in 2019 and has had an involvement in Best Hooper’s operations and management since his early years with the firm. Joel will continue to maintain his part in the Land Development practice at Best Hooper, focusing on offering value to landowners and developers at every phase of the property development lifecycle. The core of this practice is facilitating project delivery in Victoria’s Greenfields.
Collectively, Romy and Joel have developed a strong relationship with some of Victoria’s most prominent developers and private clients.
Over the years, Best Hooper has been at the forefront of the development industry, providing strategic advice to Victoria’s developers and landowners to deliver expert value at every phase of the property development cycle. We will continue to do so.
