Romy DavidovWith a bachelor degree in both town planning and law, Romy joined the firm’s town planning practice in March 2010. Romy practices as a lawyer who acts for developers, Councils and objectors

In 2015, Romy was ranked in the top ten "Rising Stars" in the Planning and Environment Jurisdiction throughout Australia.

Romy’s practice involves:

  • Appearing as an advocate before the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (VCAT) and Planning Panels Victoria;
  • Appearing at VCAT mediations;
  • Acting as an instructing solicitor for barristers at VCAT hearings;
  • Managing and coordinating large developer teams, including barristers and consultants;
  • Providing advice regarding planning matters, including planning scheme amendments, applications for planning permits, restrictive covenants and building matters;
  • Preparing Section 173 agreements;
  • Preparing applications for review before VCAT with respect to both development and liquor matters; and
  • Preparing submissions in relation to planning scheme amendments.

Romy is a member of the UDIA Outlook Committee, the Victorian Planning & Environmental Law Association (VPELA), the Urban Development Institute of Australia (Vic) (UDIA) and the Law Institute of Victoria.
