Edward holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Melbourne and Master of Laws (Juris Doctor) from Monash University.
Edward began his career working with an international bank for four years before moving to regional Victoria where he undertook his legal traineeship. Upon admission, Edward acted as an advocate in commercial and property law.
With this regional foundation, Edward established laneway ‘pop-up’ bars in Warrnambool and Geelong and also co-founded a Young Professionals Network for the region. He was subsequently nominated for the Victorian Young Achiever Awards.
In 2016, Edward undertook a secondment in the UK House of Commons as a parliamentary researcher for then Whip of Brexit, and now Minister of State for Health and Social Care, Steven Barclay MP. In this role, Edward worked on a number of significant UK Government land developments in health and rail.
Upon his return to Australia, Edward joined Best Hooper in their Planning and Environment team.
